"Sewn, Found, Printed, Cut, Created, Reused."

"Working with found objects and re-purposing clothing into raw materials are the two things I like most about doing the work I do. But listening to low roar of a sewing machine comes in at the top of the list too."

Sock it to Me!

"I've always loved working with fabric, especially with fun colors and patterns. In January of 2010 I discovered the versatility of socks and started making a variety of creatures. Small lovable ones with embroidered faces, which are great for kids, and more whimsical ones with different expressions. Playing with buttons, ties and other accessories is one of my favorite things to do and I love seeing people enjoy the results."

Craftopia: Big News!

So many exciting bits to share!

Firstly, we will be putting on TWO holiday shows this year! Our first event will be held on November 20th, for early bird shoppers. Our second event is scheduled for December 11th, perfect for last minute gifts! Each show will be brimming with a sensational assortment of local, hand made crafts including jewelry, accessories, home decor, body care, stationary and much, much more!

Secondly, we have moved! We will be in the same building, but in a dazzling new space, flooded with natural light and high ceilings! To access the space, you can enter the building at #999 Main Street or on Warren Avenue.

Thirdly, we are being sponsored by The Providence Phoenix! We are truly excited about this!

We plan to have at least four food trucks at the event and as always, Coffee Guy will be serving up hot java to keep us all properly fueled!

Stay tuned for new artist profiles!
